We Brought Our 2,600 sqm VR Exhibition Hall to Sweden

Following the NRA Show in Chicago,
UTCOOK once again set sail overseas,
bringing our 2,600 sqm VR Exhibition Hall to Gothenburg Sports Arena in Sweden,
recreating the "super" abilities of smart cooking!

On September 20th, the largest HORECA exhibition in Northern Europe, the Fastfood & Café & Restaurant Expo (FFCR), successfully concluded at PrioritetSernekeArena in Gothenburg, Sweden. UTCOOK showcased its smart cooking solutions and VR Exhibition Hall at FFCR. This was our second overseas adventure since the NRA Show in Chicago in May, helping overseas Chinese cuisine brands to plant their flags and spread their aroma overseas!

As the largest and most influential HORECA exhibition in Northern Europe, FFCR attracted over 150 exhibitors from around the world, showcasing the latest industry trends and technologies in the foodservice and hotel industry.

The wave of Chinese cuisine going overseas has been popular since 2017, but today, the direction has changed. Many Chinese cuisine brands have shifted their focus from Southeast Asia to Europe. According to the latest data in 2024, the European foodservice market is valued at approximately $870 billion, with Chinese cuisine accounting for less than 1%. Undoubtedly, there is vast potential for Chinese cuisine in Europe, representing a new blue ocean.

However, issues such as a shortage of Chinese chefs, high employment costs, long training periods, inconsistent dishes, and slow service times have emerged frequently as overseas Chinese restaurants expand rapidly. Focusing on standardizing Chinese cuisine, UTCOOK presented a one-stop smart kitchen solution at the exhibition. By introducing AI cooking robots, we address issues such as the shortage of overseas chefs, high labor costs, and inconsistent output, helping restaurants achieve the goals of "increasing efficiency and reducing staffing" and "authentic taste"!

At the exhibition site, UTCOOK promoted the Chef G3 E (European version) of the smart cooking robot through various forms. As UTCOOK's star product, Chef G3 E inherits the efficient service and easy operation of the G3 series, with localized adaptations made to details such as the seasoning compartment. It integrates a high-power induction cooker, a high-safety non-coated wok, and the ability to send electronic recipes with one click. It can replicate the taste of stir-frying with a raw iron wok by a Chinese chef, ensuring consistent output and taste across different locations.

Moreover, we invited visitors to immerse themselves in UTCOOK's smart cooking scenarios through VR equipment, attracting the attention of many foodservice professionals and procurement experts at the scene. The UTCOOK VR Exhibition Hall not only showcases the workflow of the Chef G3 but also provides an intuitive understanding of the overall operation of UTCOOK's self-operated 2,600 sqm smart restaurant, including the equipment's operating interface, intelligent control system, and actual cooking process. The highly intelligent and smartly operated restaurant won high praise from customers.

This trip to Sweden is not only the debut of UTCOOK's smart cooking equipment at a major exhibition in Western Europe but also an important step for Chinese cuisine culture to go international.
